PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne la fabrication d'un support sphérique de catalyseur pour la polymérisation des alpha- oléfines, par réaction d'un mélange d'un composé organique chloré et d'un donneur d'électrons, avec un mélange d'un alkylmagnésien avec un aluminoxane et/ou aluminosiloxane, éventuellement en présence d'un donneur d'électrons identique ou différent à celui associé au compose organique chloré. Le support obtenu est soumis à une seconde activation par un composé chloré avant d'être imprégné d'un halogénure de métal de transition pour obtenir le catalyseur désiré.
