A METHOD OF PRODUCING A STRETCH FABRIC AND A FABRIC PRODUCED THEREBY Abstract of the Disclosure An absorbent stretch fabric is provided by a novel warp knit structure. The fabric can be produced on any conventional warp knitting machine of the type having a plurality of guide bars by tying in a stretch yarn to the guide bar closest to the knitting needles, and by tying in an absorbent yarn to one of the other guide bars.
