ABSTRACT Aqueous paints containing mineral fillers and/or pigments are produced by allowing an emulsion of wax in water, at a temperature between 80 and 100°C, to flow under intensive stirring into an aqueous paint containing mineral fillers and/or pigments so as to cause at least some of the filler and/or pigment particles to be coated with wax.
