ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of producing composite boards in which a cover sheet of a synthetic resinous material is placed into the cavity of a mold having a pattern on an inner surface thereof. The cover sheet is provided with a pattern corresponding to the mold pattern. An uncured cementitious material is packed into the cavity formed by the cover sheet. A board of a foamed synthetic resinous material is placed on an upper surface of the cementitious material under application of pressure to bond the foam board to the cementitious material. The cover sheet with the uncured cementitious material and the foamed board can then be removed from the mold and cured in a place other than the mold. The invention also claims a composite board and cover sheet.
