ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A logo, trademark or other design is produced in a two- color footwear sole by molding an outer sole layer of one color with a recess extending from the top surface to near the bottom surface thereof; molding an inner sole layer of another color on the outer sole layer so that the plastic of the inner sole layer fills the recess; and removing the bottom surface of the outer sole layer in the area of the recess to expose the inner sole layer in such area.
