ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Hybridomas producing a monoclonal antibody of the IgG class are produced by cultivating a hybridoma producing a monoclonal antibody belonging to the IgM class in the presence of an antigen reactive with the IgM antibody, and in the presence of thymocytes. This hybridoma production method makes it easy to obtain monoclonal antibodies of the IgG class to a glycolipid or the like to which monoclonal antibodies of the IgG class are difficult to obtain.
