The present invention relates to a method of producing a low-dust pigment composition, which comprises suspending a filter cake obtained from preparation of the pigment, or a solid pigment, in water, adding thereto from 0.1 to 6.0% by weight, based On the weight of the pigment composition, of an amphoteric surfactant and, where appropriate, further adjuvants, and then drying the aqueous suspension to form granules, to the pigment composition obtainable according to that method, and to the use thereof in the production of colored plastics or colored polymeric particles.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire une composition pigmentaire à faible dégagement de poussière, qui consiste à suspendre un gâteau de filtre obtenu à partir d'une préparation de pigment ou d'un pigment solide dans l'eau; à ajouter à cette préparation de 0,1 à 6,0% en poids d'un tensioactif amphotérique en fonction du poids de ladite composition pigmentaire et, le cas échéant d'autres adjuvants; puis à sécher la suspension aqueuse afin de former des granules. L'invention concerne également la composition pigmentaire obtenue à l'aide dudit procédé et son utilisation dans la production des plastiques colorés et ou particules polymères colorées.
