The invention relates to a method of producing the N-substituted 2,6-dialkyl morpholines of general formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 independently represent hydrogen, alkyl or cycloalkyl, or R1 and R2, together with the carbon atom to which they are bound, represent a 5 to 14 membered carbocyclic compound, and R3 and R4 independently represent alkyl or cycloalkyl. The inventive substances are produced by reacting at least one carbonyl compound of general formula (II), wherein R1 and R2 are defined as above, with at least one morpholine of general formula (III), wherein R3 and R4 are defined as above, in the presence of hydrogen and at least one metal-containing catalyst, the active component of said catalyst substantially consisting of platinum group metals.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour réaliser des 2,6-dialkyle morpholines N-substituées de formule générale (I), dans laquelle R?1¿ et R?2¿ représentent indépendamment hydrogène, alkyle ou cycloalkyle, ou bien R?1¿ et R?2¿, avec l'atome de carbone auquel ils sont liés, signifient un carbocycle de 5 à 14 chaînons, et R?3¿ et R?4¿ représentent indépendamment alkyle ou cycloalkyle. Selon l'invention, au moins une liaison carbonyle de formule générale (II), dans laquelle R?1¿ et R?2¿ ont les significations susmentionnées, est mise à réagir avec au moins une morpholine de formule générale (III), dans laquelle R?3¿ et R?4¿ ont les significations susmentionnées, en présence d'hydrogène et d'au moins un catalyseur métallique. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le composant actif du catalyseur est essentiellement constitué de métaux du groupe platine.
