A method of producing polyamide nanocomposites from partially crystalline polyamides and organically modified layered silicates in a double screw extruder is disclosed, a first part of the polyamides being dosed into the extruder intake and melted and the organically modified layered silicate being admixed with the melt of the polyamides and then a second part of the polyamides being added to the mixture. The method according to the present invention is distinguished in that the resulting melt is subjected to filtration. Injection molded parts and vehicle driving illuminator reflectors made of the polyamide nanocomposite molding compound produced according to the present invention are also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de nanocomposites à base de polyamides dans une extrudeuse à deux vis, à partir de polyamides partiellement cristallins et de silicates en couches modifiés de manière organique. Une première partie des polyamides est introduite de manière dosée dans la charge d'alimentation de l'extrudeuse puis fondue, les silicates en couches modifiés de manière organique sont mélangés aux polyamides fondus, puis une seconde partie des polyamides est ajoutée au mélange. Le procédé conforme à la présente invention se caractérise en ce que le mélange fondu résultant est soumis à une filtration. L'invention se rapporte également à des pièces moulées par injection et à des réflecteurs de dispositif d'éclairage guidant des véhicules, fabriqués à partir du composé de moulage contenant des nanocomposites à base de polyamides et produit conformément au procédé décrit ci-dessus.
