METHOD OF PRODUCING REVERSAL COLOR IMAGES Abstract of the Invention Reversal color images are produced in photographic elements which employ a leuco dye comprising the reaction pro- duct of a color forming coupler and a N,N-dialkyl-p-phenylene- diamine stabilized against aerial oxidation by an electronegative group attached to the benzene ring. A preferred process involves the use of black-and-white developers and comprises (1) treating the exposed photographic element with a non- cross-oxidizing balck-and-white developing composition, (2) fogging the residual silver halide, (3) treating the element with a cross-oxidizing black-and-white developing composition, and (4) removing silver and silver halide by a bleach-fix treatment. -1-
