ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Described is a method for the production of semi-solid preparations containing micro-particulate substances, the method being characterized in that a mixture of one or two non-ionic surfactants, with an HLB value of 9 to 18, and 2.3 to 100 times the amount by weight of fatty-acid ester of the general formula (I) R1-COO-R2, in which R1 and R2 are each alkyl or alkenyl groups with 12 to 32 carbon atoms, or a mixture of such fatty-acid esters, is heated until it melts, the melt introduced, while stirring, into 10 to 200 times the amount by weight of a semi-solid preparation which has been heated to approximately the same temperature, the mixture allowed to cool, continuing the stirring, and the micro- particulate substance or mixture or substances added, optionally together with fragrances.
