ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is concerned with a method of producing economically soft magnetic ferrous materials with high magnetic permeability. A cast piece or a steel piece, where sol.Al is added 0.5 to 2.0 wt% to pure iron - composition and Ti is added 0.005 to 1.0 wt% as required, is hot worked as specified temperatures and at specified work finishing temperatures, and finally annealed 900 to 1300°C, preferably 1000 to 1300°C, thereby to obtain soft magnetic materials having coercive force of lower than 0.4 Oe and magnetic flux density of more than 10000 G at the magnetic field of 0.5 Oe.
