"METHOD OF PRODUCING STRUCTURAL PANELS" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is concerned with a method of pro- ducing fiber-reinforced structural panels, wherein raw panels comprising cellulose fibers and an inorganic bonding agent are treated at elevated pressures and temperatures. According to the invention, the bonding agent used contains less than about 2% by weight of sulfate and the treatment of the raw panels is carried out at pressures not exceeding about 8 bars and over a period of up to about 8 hours. The method according to the invention prevents the cellulose fibers from being damaged both during production of the panels and while the panels are in use.
