A method of producing styrene derivatives expressed the general formula (2) by reacting a benzaldehyde derivative expressed by the general formula (1) with dibromo-methane under the existence of zinc metal as well as an active chloride for producing various types of oxystyrene which are polymerized monomers as a photoresist material used in a high density integrated circuit process from easily available materials which also can easily be handled: (see fig.I) (wherein R indicates a an alkyl group, alkoxyalkyl group, an alkylcarbonyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a 5 or 6-atom heterocylclic groups, or an alkylsilyl group); (see fig.II) (wherein R indicates any of the same substituents as those described above.)

Méthode de production de dérivés de styrène représentés par la formule générale (2) par réaction d'un dérivé du benzaldéhyde représenté par la formule générale (1) avec du dibromométhane en présence de zinc métallique de même que d'un chlorure actif pour produire divers types d'oxystyrènes qui sont des monomères polymérisés d'une photorésine utilisée dans un procédé de fabrication de circuits intégrés haute densité à partir de matériaux facilement accessibles et faciles à manipuler : (voir fig.I) (où R est un groupe alkyle, un groupe alcoxyalkyle, un groupe alkylcarbonyle, un groupe alcoxycarbonyle, un groupe hétérocyclique à 5 ou 6 atomes ou un groupe alkylsilyle); (voir fig.II) (où R est l'un ou l'autre des substituants décrits ci-dessus.)
