A method of producing polyaniline which comprises reacting a seed oligomer of an aniline with a salt of an aniline monomer and an oxidizing agent at an acidic pH; and further, a method for oxidatively coupling aniline monomer which comprises reacting a salt of said monomer with an electron acceptor in the presence of an enzyme while adding a base to the reaction to maintain the pH in a range in which the enzymes retains its activity.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de polyanilines, qui consiste à faire réagir un <= oligomère semence >= d'une anilineavec un sel d'un monomère d'aniline et un agent d'oxydation à un pH acide. L'invention concerne également un procédé de couplage oxydatif d'un monomère d'aniline, qui consiste à faire réagir un sel dudit monomère avec un accepteur d'électrons en présence d'un enzyme tout en ajoutant une base à la réaction pour maintenir le pH dans une certaine gamme dans laquelle l'enzyme conserve son activité.
