-1- ABSTRACT A method of purifying polluted soil whereby the polluted soil, which may be mixed with water, is sucked in with the aid of a jet pipe included in a conduit, whilst herein with the aid of water subjected to high pressure to form a water curtain subatmospheric pressure is ge- nerated and the sucked in soil is passed across said water curtain for being subsequently conducted away as a mixture with the water.
