A method of purifying and recov- ering waste water from a fiberboard man- ufacturing process. The waste water is supplied to an evaporator (11), in which steam from a steam generator (12) is used as heating medium for evaporating the waste water and concentrating impurities. These impurities are thereafter separated mechanically from the evaporator (11). The steam generated in the evaporator (11) is used in a steam converter (14) for restoring the heating medium used in the evaporator (11) from condensate to steam phase. The condensate formed in the steam converter (14) is purified from solved substances in a purifying unit (15). The condensate thus purified is used as feed water in the steam generator (12), from which steam is supplied to the evap- orator (11).

Procédé de purification et de récupération des eaux résiduaires provenant de la fabrication de panneaux de particules. Les eaux résiduaires passent dans un évaporateur (11) où la vapeur d'un générateur de vapeur (12) sert de milieu chauffant pour leur évaporation en vue de la concentration des impuretés lesquelles sont ensuite extraites mécaniquement de l'évaporateur (11). La vapeur produite dans l'évaporateur (11) passe dans un échangeur (14) où elle sert à reconstituer le milieu chauffant utilisé dans l'évaporateur (11) pour passer du condensat à la phase vapeur. Le condensat formé dans l'échangeur de vapeur (14) est ensuite débarrassé de ses éléments en suspension dans une unité de purification (15). Le condensat ainsi purifié sert d'eau d'apport pour le générateur de vapeur (12) qui alimente l'évaporateur (11) en vapeur.
