It is intended to provide a method of quickly and conveniently fractionating and measuring a small-sized LDL. A method of quantifying a small-sized low density lipoprotein in a test sample which comprises the first step of separating the small-sized low density lipoprotein from other low density lipoproteins and the second step of measuring cholesterol, neutral fat or protein in the thus separated small-sized low density lipoprotein.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de fractionner et de mesurer de manière rapide et aisée une lipoprotéine de basse densité (LDL). L'invention concerne en particulier un procédé permettant de quantifier une lipoprotéine de basse densité et de petite taille dans un échantillon de test, comprenant une première étape consistant à séparer la lipoprotéine de basse densité et de petite taille des autres lipoprotéines de basse densité, et une seconde étape consistant à mesurer le cholestérol, la graisse neutre, ou les protéines dans la lipoprotéine de basse densité et de petite taille ainsi séparée.
