CANADIAN PATENT APPLICATION OF EUG?N CONRAD EMANUEL GANSLANDT AND BERNDT GUNNAR LIND?N FOR A METHOD OF RECLAIMING RUBBER Abstract of the Disclosure: Rubber crumb is subjected to direct reclaiming by being mixed with a plasticizer and optionally also a peptizer and, under agitation and supply of a gas at- mosphere with controlled oxygen content and at a tempe- rature of 130-200°C, heated at substantially atmospheric pressure to cause the rubber particles to react with oxygen and absorb ?10, preferably 0.5-5 litres of O2/kg of rubber particles.
