Abstract of the Disclosure Method of recording X-ray images and imaging chamber suited therefor A method and an apparatus are described for making X-ray images by means of an ionographic imaging chamber. The spherical cap configuration of the electric field necessary to avoid image unsharpness in such a chamber is built-up with only one DC voltage supply. This may be realized by equispa- tially arranging the annular ring electrodes on or in the electrodes of the imaging chamber and by applying DC voltages to such annular ring electrodes which are integers of one basic voltage. Also the DC voltage over the gap between the electrodes of the chamber may be an integer of the same basic voltage. In contradistinction with the prior art imaging chambers only one DC voltage is necessary and the spherical cap configuration of the electric field is obtained in a more simple manner.
