A method of reducing injuries to riders and associated riding cinch. Firstly, providing a riding cinch that has a locking mechanism with a electrically controlled release for locking a first coupling and a second coupling. Secondly, providing a remote transmitter adapted to send a signal to signal receiving means to selectively activate a release activating circuit by closing a switch to permit power to flow from a power source to the electrically controlled release for the locking mechanism. Thirdly, securing the riding cinch to an animal to be ridden. Fourthly, activating the release activating circuit with the remote transmitter, as the rider dismounts.
L'invention concerne une méthode pour diminuer les blessures des cavaliers et porte sur une sangle d'équitation. Premièrement, fournir une sangle d'équitation qui comporte un mécanisme de verrouillage avec une fonction de déverrouillage commandée électriquement permettant de verrouiller un premier et un second couplages. Deuxièmement, fournir un émetteur à distance qui est conçu pour transmettre un signal à un récepteur de signaux afin d'activer de façon sélective un circuit d'activation de la fonction de déverrouillage en fermant un interrupteur pour permettre au courant de passer d'une source d'alimentation à la fonction de déverrouillage commandée électriquement du mécanisme de verrouillage. Troisièmement, fixer la sangle d'équitation à un animal que le cavalier montera. Quatrièmement, activer au moyen de l'émetteur à distance le circuit d'activation de la fonction de déverrouillage lorsque le cavalier descend de l'animal.
