The object of the invention is to provide a method of treating wash water resulting from the scrubbing of process gases in smelting plants, according to which method the wash water is brought into intimate contact with the process gas and is circulated when the solids have been deposited. The method according to the invention draws off a partial flow from the wash water, mixes it with fresh water and uses it for rewashing the process gas. According to the invention, the wash water necessary for the scrubbers (3a, 3b, 3c) is drawn from a wash water container (1). In the sedimentation tank (4) the insoluble portions are removed from the substance-charged wash water which is then introduced into the wash water container (1). The wash water required for the rewashing stage (6) is removed from the wash water container (1) and mixed with fresh water via the fresh water pipe (7). Solids are likewise removed in the sedimentation tank (4) from the wash water from the rewashing stage (6), this wash water then being circulated after introduction into the wash water container (1).
L'invention vise à mettre au point un procédé permettant de traiter des eaux de lavage provenant d'opérations de lavage de gaz de processus industriels sidérurgiques, selon lequel les eaux de lavage sont mises en contact intime avec le gaz du processus, puis mises en circulation après extraction des solides. Selon ce procédé, un courant partiel des eaux de lavage est soustrait, mélangé à de l'eau fraîche et est utilisé pour le lavage post-traitement du gaz du processus. Selon ce procédé, l'eau de lavage requise pour les appareils laveurs (3a, 3b, 3c) est soustraite du réservoir (1) la contenant. Les fractions insolubles contenues dans l'eau de lavage chargée en substances sont éliminées dans le bassin de décantation (4) et l'eau de lavage qui résulte de cette opération est introduite dans le réservoir (1) contenant l'eau de lavage. L'eau de lavage requise pour l'appareil laveur post-traitement (6) est soutirée du réservoir (1) la contenant et est mélangée à de l'eau fraîche par l'intermédiaire de la conduite d'eau fraîche. Les solides contenus dans l'eau de lavage requise pour l'appareil laveur post-traitement (6) sont également éliminés dans le bassin de décantation (4) et l'eau de lavage qui résultant de cette opération est mise en circulation après introduction dans le réservoir contenant l'eau de lavage (1).
