A method of refurbishing a cooler display case involving a single step of installing a refurbishing tank cover having a different profile than that of the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) tank cover and a refurbishing sill cover having a different profile than that of the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) sill over top of existing original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) components which are secured to the cooler display case to cosmetically alter an appearance of the cooler display case. As many OEM components as possible being left in place to provide underlying support to the refurbishing tank cover and the refurbishing sill cover.
