It is found out that a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory agent and a muscle relaxant regulate the expression of a gene carried on a viral vector. These drugs also regulate the cytotoxicity of the viral vector. Thus, a method of regulating the expression of a gene carried on a viral vector with the use of a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory agent and/or a muscle relaxant is provided. The drugs achieve reversible effects. That is, elevated gene expression from the viral vector and an increase in the cytotoxicity of the viral vector are observed after ceasing the administration of the drugs. The above drugs are useful in regulating the expression of a virus gene and a therapeutic gene in gene therapy with the use of a viral vector for gene therapy and regulating the cytotoxicity of the viral vector.
L'invention concerne un agent anti-inflammatoire non stéroïdal et un myorelaxant permettant de réguler l'expression d'un gène porté sur un vecteur viral. Ces médicaments permettent également de réguler la cytotoxicité du vecteur viral. L'invention concerne un procédé de régulation de l'expression d'un gène porté sur un vecteur viral, faisant appel à l'utilisation d'un agent anti-inflammatoire non stéroïdal et/ou d'un myorelaxant. Ces médicaments permettent d'atteindre des effets réversibles. C'est-à-dire qu'une expression génique élevée à partir du vecteur viral, et qu'une augmentation au niveau de la cytotoxicité du vecteur viral sont observées après l'arrêt de l'administration de ces médicaments. Les médicaments susmentionnés sont utiles au niveau de la régulation de l'expression d'un gène de virus et d'un gène thérapeutique en thérapie génique, par le biais de l'utilisation d'un vecteur viral pour une thérapie génique, et sont utiles pour réguler la cytotoxicité du vecteur viral.
