Disclosed is a method and apparatus for removing DC offsets in a ZIF radio device, the method including the steps of converting a signal to digital samples, calculating a DC burst by capturing an entire burst and a portion of the adjacent channels, removing DC offset from the digital signal, rotating out frequency error from the digital signal, and performing channel filtering of the digital signal. The system includes a digital DC offset removal circuit, which includes an analog to digital converter (108), a channel filter (110) connected to the converter (108), and a rotator system (114) that is connected to the channel filter input and output. The rotator system (114) includes a DC estimator (116) connected to the channel filter input, a DC offset removal component (120) connected to the DC estimator, and a rotator (122) connected to the DC offset removal component, the output of the rotator being connected to the channel filter input.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant d'éliminer des décalages en continu dans un dispositif à radiofréquence intermédiaire nulle, le procédé consistant : à reconvertir un signal analogique, à calculer un décalage en continu par addition des échantillons d'une rafale ou de la rafale entière et à diviser la somme par le nombre d'échantillons, à éliminer le décalage en continu du signal numérique, à permettre la rotation en dehors de l'erreur de fréquence du signal numérique. Le système comprend un convertisseur analogique/numérique (108), un filtre de canaux (110) relié au convertisseur (108), et un système rotateur (114) qui est relié au filtre de canaux. Le système rotateur (114) comprend un estimateur en continu (116) relié au filtre de canaux, un composant d'élimination de décalage en continu (116) relié à l'estimateur en continu, et un rotateur (122) relié à l'élément d'élimination de décalage en continu, la sortie du rotateur étant reliée au filtre de canaux.
