In a method of removing dioxins in a waste incineration plant for cooling combustion gases from an incinerator by means of a first and/or second heat exchangers, and for exhausting the gases into the atmosphere through a dust collector of a bag-filiter type. The method comprises the steps of controlling a temperature of the gases right after the first heat exchanger within a range of 200° C ~ 140° C, by means of the first heat exchanger, and also controlling a pressure loss of the gases right after the first heat exchanger whithin a range of - 20 mmH2O~ - 60 mmH2O.

Cette invention concerne une méthode d'extraction des dioxines des gaz de combustion d'un incinérateur, de refroidissement desdits gaz au moyen d'un premier et/ou d'un second échangeurs de chaleur et de rejet desdits gaz à l'atmosphère après dépoussiérage dans un filtre à poches. La méthode prévoit l'abaissement de la température des gaz à une valeur comprise entre 200 degrés Celsius et environ 140 degrés Celsius à la sortie du premier échangeur ainsi que le maintien de la chute de pression des gaz à la sortie dudit premier échangeur de chaleur à l'intérieur d'une plage allant de - 20 mm de H2O à - 60 mm de H2O.
