Abstract of the Disclosure Foulants are removed from ion exchange resins by treating the foulant coated ion exchange resin with a weak aqueous solution of a com- pound that quickly decomposes the foulants. Mild oxidizing agents includ- ing hydrogen peroxide have been found to be effective in regenerating the ion exchange resin.
