ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Method of repairing a steam generator tube by means of lining. In the method, the mechanical deformation of the liner, achieved by means of expansion in its end part opposite the expanded end inside the tube plate, is located at a limited height, and the parameters of the mechanical deformation are calculated in accordance with the welding parameters subsequently applied. Moreover, the welding parameters are determined in accordance with the parameters of the initial mechanical deformation so as to obtain relief of the stresses more particularly in the crucial zones of the mechanical deformation.
