ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of sealing a leak in a pipe wherein a bandage soaked in synthetic resin is wrapped around the portion of the pipe whereat the leak is located. A vent in the bandage allows escape of the leaking medium whilst the bandage is setting hard and eventually the vent is sealed to complete the repair of the leak. There is also provided a kit f or the effective carrying out of the method.
