A computerized color matching method can include receiving at least one color space matching parameter for matching a first color to a second color. The first color can correspond to color specification parameters defined in a color characterization system. Second, based upon the color specification parameters of the first color and the color space matching parameter, new color specification parameters can be computed. The new color specification parameters can correspond to said second color. As such, the second color can match the first color. The computing step can also include computing new color specification parameters based upon the color specification parameters of the first color, the color space matching parameter, and a randomly generated value.
L'invention concerne un procédé informatique d'association de couleurs consistant à recevoir au moins un paramètre d'association d'espace couleurs destiné à associer une première couleur avec une seconde couleur. La première couleur peut correspondre aux paramètres de spécification de couleurs définis dans un système de caractérisation de couleurs. Puis, en fonction des paramètres de spécification de couleurs de la première couleur et du paramètre d'association d'espace couleurs, des nouveaux paramètres de spécification de couleurs peuvent être calculés. Ceux-ci peuvent s'associer à la seconde couleur. Par conséquent, la seconde couleur peut s'associer à la première. L'étape du calcul peut consister à calculer de nouveaux paramètres de spécification de couleurs fondés sur les paramètres de spécification de couleurs de la première couleur, du paramètre d'association d'espace couleurs et d'une valeur générée de manière aléatoire.
