The present invention provides a method for effectively separating independent hydroxynaphthalene- carboxylic acids by treating a mixture containing various kinds of hydroxynaphthalene-carboxylic acids with nonionic porous synthetic adsorbents having as a basic structure aromatic copolymers mainly composed of styrene and divinyl benzene or methacrylic copolymers mainly composed of monomethacrylates and dimethacrylates.
Ce procédé destiné à séparer efficacement les uns des autres plusieurs acides hydroxynaphtalènecarboxyliques, consiste à traiter un mélange de ces acides avec un adsorbant synthétique poreux non ionique, constitué fondamentalement soit d'un copolymère aromatique obtenu notamment à partir de styrène et de divinylbenzène, soit d'un copolymère méthacrylique obtenu notamment à partir d'un monométhacrylate et d'un diméthacrylate.
