The invention relates to a method of setting and performing freely programmable functions of a telecommunications terminal (u) with function control keys (KB) and a control unit (U) for initiating functions which are selected by actuating the function control keys, and with an access unit (UIC) providing access to the telecommunications network (N), wherein for the purpose of setting or performing a function, a connection is established between the control unit and a service unit (S1, S2) via the access unit, and wherein the setting or performance of the function takes place from this service unit, and to a telecommunications terminal.
L'invention est une méthode d'initialisation et d'exécution de fonctions programmables dans un terminal de télécommunication (u) au moyen de touches de commande de fonction (KB) et d'une unité de commande (U) servant à initialiser les fonctions sélectionnées par les touches, et d'une unité d'accès (UIC) au réseau de télécommunication (N). Pour l'initialisation ou l'exécution d'une fonction, une connexion est établie entre l'unité de contrôle et une unité de service (S1, S2) via l'unité d'accès; quand l'initialisation ou l'exécution de la fonction se fait dans une unité de service, la connexion est établie avec un terminal de télécommunication.
