METHOD OF SIZING MONOMER DROPLETS FOR SUSPENSION POLYMERIZATION TO FORM SMALL PARTICLES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of forming particles of between about 5 and about 50 microns utilizing a two stage process wherein monomer possibly containing pigments, dyes and/or fillers such as silicon and magnetite, as well as chemical reagents such as crosslinking agents and chain transfer agents, is sized to a narrow range by high shear mixing then polymerized during slow speed agitation to form polymeric particles.
