ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a method of sowing seeds in an area of ground which comprises passing a seeding device over said ground and discharging said seeds from said device to form said seed rows and simultaneously therewith separately discharging fertilizer for each seed row from said seeding device in at least one path essentially parallel to and laterally spaced from each seed row. The invention also includes a seeding device adapted to discharge seeds in a plurality of rows in an area of ground a simultaneously discharge fertilizer therefor, the improvement in which said device is adapted to discharge said fertilizer in at least one path essentially parallel to and laterally spaced from each seed row.
