ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed a method of stabilizing an animal or vegetable fat or oil. The oil is mixed with at least one substance selected from the group consisting of cereals, starch, and proteins and mixtures thereof. The mixture is heated to a temperature above 150°C until the fat or oil is stabilized.
