A method of synthesizing saccharide compositions is described. In this method, an acceptor moiety is contacted with at least one donor saccharide in the presence of at least one cell surface-bound glycosyltransferase specific for catalyzing the coupling of the acceptor moiety with the donor saccharide. The acceptor moiety used is a carbohydrate, a protein, a glycoprotein a lipid, or a glycolipid.
Procédé de synthèse de compositions de saccharide. Selon ce procédé, une fraction accepteur est mise en contact avec au moins un saccharide donneur en présence d'au moins une glycosyltransférase liée à la surface cellulaire et apte à catalyser de manière spécifique le couplage de la fraction accepteur et du saccharide donneur. La fraction accepteur utilisée est un glucide, une protéine, un glycolipide, un lipide ou une glycoprotéine.
