A method of transmitting data of a plurality of transmission channels between a transmitting unit having transmitters and a receiving unit having receivers is preferably applied in telecommunication networks. At the transmitting end, an identification information is added to the data of each transmission channel. The identification information corresponds to an identifier of the transmission frequency of a transmitting device. which is assigned to the respective transmission channel. After reception arid evaluation of the identification information, it is possible for the corresponding data to be imaged on the receiving device at the receiving end, the receiving device being assigned to the respective transmission channel. A communication system and a telecommunication network are also provided.
