Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a method of treating a polymerising reactor, and the reactor so treated. A coating solution containing resin ex- tracted from pine wood is applied to the internal surfaces of the reactor. When a monomeric composition based on vinyl chloride is polymerised in the reactor thus treated the formation of polymer deposits on the internal surfaces of the reactor is substantially reduced.
