Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a method of treating a polymerising reactor and a reactor so treated. A coating solution containing modified rosin is applied to the internal surfaces of the reactor. When a monomeric composi- tion based on vinyl chloride is polymerised in the reactor thus treated, the formation of polymer deposits on the internal surfaces of the reactor is substantially reduced.
