Abstract METHOD OF TREATING HYPERTENSION USING A THROMBOXANE A2 RECEPTOR ANTAGONIST AND NEW COMBINATIONS A method is provided for treating hypertension by administering a thromboxane A2 receptor antagonist which preferably is a 7-oxabicycloheptane prostaglandin analog. In addition, new combinations are provided containing a thromboxane A2 receptor antagonist and a beta blocker, an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, a diuretic, an endopeptidase inhibitor or human ANF 99-126.
