A method of treating malignancies through induction of immune responses has been found. In one aspect, the present invention is a method for treating malignancy comprising administering an effective amount of a vaccine comprising antigen-presenting cells loaded with at least two or more agents selected from the group consisting of tumor antigens and tumor antigen derived peptides. In another embodiment, the vaccine comprises at least two or more agents selected from the group consisting of tumor antigens and tumor antigen derived peptides which target antigen-presenting cells in the patient. The vaccines can also further comprise antigen-presenting cells loaded with control antigens used to determine the patient's immune competence. The evaluation of vaccine-induced immune responses in blood provides a predictive factor for treatment efficacy.
L'invention concerne une méthode de traitement de malignités par l'induction de réponses immunitaires. Selon un aspect de l'invention, la méthode de traitement d'une malignité consiste à administrer une quantité efficace d'un vaccin contenant des cellules présentant l'antigène chargées d'au moins deux agents choisis dans le groupe constitué par des antigènes de tumeur et des peptides dérivés d'antigènes de tumeur. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, ce vaccin contient au moins deux agents choisis dans le groupe constitué par des antigènes de tumeur et des peptides dérivés d'antigènes de tumeur qui ciblent des cellules présentant l'antigène chez le patient. Ces vaccins peuvent également contenir des cellules présentant l'antigène chargées d'antigènes de contrôle utilisés pour déterminer la compétence immunitaire du patient. L'évaluation des réponses immunitaires induites par le vaccin dans le sang fournit un facteur de prévision de l'efficacité du traitement.
