The present invention relates to a method of forming a polyfluorocarbon coating on a razor blade cutting edge comprising the steps of: dispersing a fluorocarbon polymer in a supercritical fluid; coating said razor blade cutting edge with the dispersion; and heating the coating sufficiently to adhere the fluorocarbon polymer to the blade edge.

Cette invention porte sur un procédé de formation d'un revêtement à base de polyfluorocarbure sur le tranchant d'une lame de rasoir consistant à disperser un polymère fluorocarboné dans un fluide hypercritique, à revêtir ledit tranchant à l'aide de cette dispersion puis à chauffer suffisamment le revêtement pour faire adhérer le polymère fluorocarboné au bord de la lame.
