The invention aims at making a volatile organic compound harmless, and in addition comprehensively improving the energy efficiency within a facility where treatment of the volatile organic compound is necessary. In the invention, in order to achieve this aim, a solution means is adopted where, a discharge gas containing a volatile organic compound is supplied to an adsorption apparatus to adsorb the volatile organic compound in an adsorbent. The volatile organic compound is desorbed from the adsorbent with pressurized steam and mixed with the steam. The steam containing the volatile organic compound is supplied, in the pressurized state, to the combustion chamber of a gas turbine, and burned together with a fuel gas.
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé permettant de traiter un composé organique volatil dans le but de le rendre inoffensif. Ledit procédé permet de plus d'augmenter le rendement énergétique d~une usine dans laquelle le traitement d'un composé organique volatil est nécessaire. Dans le procédé décrit par cette invention, un effluent gazeux contenant un composé organique volatil est dirigé jusqu~à un dispositif d~adsorption, ce qui permet l~adsorption du composé organique volatil sur un adsorbant. L~adsorbant est traité par de la vapeur sous pression afin de désorber le composé organique volatil et de l~entraîner dans ladite vapeur. La vapeur contenant le composé organique volatil est injectée sous pression jusqu~à la chambre de combustion d~une turbine à gaz, où elle est brûlée en même temps qu~un gaz combustible.
