The present invention relates to a method of treating a non-woven substrate or textile, comprising the step of applying to said non-woven substrate or textile a fluorochemical composition comprising a fluoropolymer that comprises:(a) between 10 and 97 mole % of units that can be derived from fluorinated monomer selected from the group consisting of monomers according to the general formula:Rf-X-OC(O)-C(R)=CH2 wherein Rf represents a perfluorinated aliphatic group having 3 or 4 carbon atoms, X is an organic divalent linking group and R represent hydrogen or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms;(b) between 3 and 75 mole % of units derived from a chlorine containing comonomer selected from the group consisting of vinylidene chloride, vinyl chloride and mixtures thereof; and(c) optionally further units derived from monomers other than a fluorinated monomer and said chlorine containing comonomers; wherein the amount of units (a), (b) and (c) adding up to 100%,whereby said fluorochemical composition is applied in such amount that the weight of fluoropolymer on said non-woven substrate or textile is not more than 3% by weight based on the weight of said non-woven substrate or textile.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un substrat non tissé ou d'un textile. Ce procédé consiste à appliquer sur ledit substrat non tissé ou textile une composition fluorochimique comprenant un fluoropolymère renfermant (a) entre 10 et 97 % molaires d'unités pouvant être dérivées du monomère fluoré choisi dans le groupe constitué par des monomères de formule générale R¿f?-X-OC(O)-C(R)=CH¿2?, dans laquelle R¿f? représente un groupe aliphatique perfluoré comprenant 3 ou 4 atomes de carbone, X est un groupe de liaison divalent organique et R représente hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle inférieur comprenant entre 1 et 4 atomes de carbone, (b) entre 3 et 75 % molaires d'unités dérivées d'un comonomère contenant du chlore choisi dans le groupe constitué par du chlorure de vinylidène, du chlorure de vinyle et des mélanges desdits composés, et (c) éventuellement d'autres unités dérivées de monomères autres qu'un monomère fluoré et autres que lesdits comonomères contenant du chlore, les quantités additionnées des unités (a), (b) et (c) donnant 100 %. Ladite composition fluorochimique est appliquée en quantité telle que le poids de fluoropolymère sur ledit substrat non tissé ou textile n'est pas supérieur à 3 % en poids sur la base du poids dudit substrat non tissé ou textile.
