A method for vaporizing a liquid in a microwave evaporator (19) by slowly evaporating the liquid from a liquid phase to a vapor phase below the boiling point of the liquid; and applying an effective amount of microwave generated by magnetron (21) to maintain the slow evaporation of the liquid to produce a purified liquid. The amount of liquid in the evaporator is monitored by a level transmitter (13) and controlled by a combination of controller (14) and control valves (12) and (16).

La présente invention concerne un procédé qui permet de vaporiser un liquide dans un évaporateur (19) en procédant à l'évaporation lente du liquide d'une phase liquide en une phase gazeuse en-dessous du point d'ébullition du liquide, et en appliquant une quantité efficace de micro-ondes produites par un magnétron (21) afin d'entretenir la lente évaporation du liquide et d'obtenir un liquide purifié. Un émetteur de niveau (13) permet de contrôler la quantité de liquide dans l'évaporateur et une combinaison de contrôleur (14) et de vannes de réglage (12 et 16) permettent de régler cette quantité.
