A method of venting a liquid storage tank. A first step involves positioning a gas scrubber in the vicinity of a liquid storage tank. A second step involves extending a conduit from a vent of the liquid storage tack to an inlet of the gas scrubber. A third step involves closing all other vents from the liquid storage tank, so that all gaseous phase emissions exiting the liquid storage tank must pass through the vent to which the conduit is connected. A fourth step involves creating a circulation to move gaseous phase emissions from the liquid storage tank through the gas scrubber.
