A method, system and apparatus for conveying personalized content to a viewer associated with a receiver are disclosed. In some embodiments, the method comprises generating control data indicative of a receiver-accessible source of personalized content for the viewer and inserting the control data into a plurality of control streams for transmission to the receiver, each of the control streams being accessible to the receiver when in a different respective operational state. The type of personalized content may include, but is not limited to, an instant message, an e-mail message, a file, a personalized report, a new television channel within a system for causing a channel change, a pay-per-view program, a video-on-demand program, a personalized message, etc.
Procédé, système et dispositif de communication d'un contenu personnalisé à un observateur associé à un récepteur. Dans certains modes de réalisation, le procédé consiste à générer pour l'observateur des données de commande correspondant à une source, accessible par récepteur, d'un contenu personnalisé et à les insérer dans une pluralité de séquences de commande pour transmission au récepteur, chacune des ces séquences étant accessible au récepteur lorsqu'elle se trouve dans un état fonctionnel différent. Le contenu personnalisé peut être de divers types, la liste suivante n'étant pas exhaustive: message instantané, courriel, fichier, rapport personnalisé, nouveau canal de télévision avec système de changement de canal, programme de télévision à la carte, programme vidéo sur demande, message personnalisé, etc.
