A method, computer system, and computer program product for encouraging customer loyalty; acquiring, retaining, rescuing new customers is provided. The method includes the steps of: (1) one or more partners participating within the loyalty system to help define token, cross-promotional tokens and prize opportunities associated with one or more activities; (2) registering one or more members with the loyalty methods for the loyalty system, whereby their registration may include the provision of a/an registered form of payment data for one or more registered form of payment types of each of the one or more participants and the registration of a token; (3) collecting financial data corresponding to transactions of the one or more members associated with the one or more partners, and providing said financial data to the loyalty system; (4) providing access to the loyalty system to the one or more members, the loyalty system permitting the one or more partners: (a) to define the rules defining the loyalty program, including special partner tokens including cross- promotional tokens between partners, loyalty tokens or payments, and chances to win prize opportunities; (b) to monitor the effectiveness of the loyalty system; and (c) to modify the loyalty system to enhance its effectiveness. The loyalty system product consists of a server application that may include the software and hardware for the loyalty system. Partners access a number of software utilities linked to the loyalty system to assess the effectiveness of the loyalty system and customize the attributes of the loyalty system to improve effectiveness for all parties involved. Members and partners may access the loyalty system real time and use loyalty actions for prize opportunities which may include tokens. Tokens may be made available by an issuing partner that may be used by other participating partners (the redeemer) contributing to the loyalty system, enabling dynamic administration of loyalty programs including customer acquisition/retention and rescue in a pool of multiple sources (thus being the partners) which may collectively increase customer acquisition/retention./rescue towards participating members within the loyalty system and may create new customers for participating partners.
