A method for detecting isoforms and/or splice variants of Calcineurin or its subunits is established. The inventive method is especially useful for differentiation between the various isoforms of Calcineurin. Herein a polymerase chain reaction of nucleic acids of mammalian tissue is performed and the corresponding products are evaluated. Especially prefered is a reverse transcribed polymerase chain reaction. For the polymerase chain reaction primers for the isoforms and/or splice variants of Calcineurin are used. In a prefered embodiment isoforms and/or splice variants of the catalytic subunit Calcineurin-A are detected.

La présente invention concerne une technique de détection d'isoformes et/ou de variants d'épissage de calcineurine ou de leurs sous unités. Cette technique convient particulièrement pour établir une différenciation entre les diverses isoformes de calcineurine. On réalise une réaction en chaîne de la polymérase d'acides nucléiques de tissu mammalien et on évalue les produits correspondants. Une réaction en chaîne de la polymérase-transcription inverse est particulièrement préférée. Pour la réaction en chaîne de la polymérase on utilise des amorces d'isoformes et/ou de variant d'épissage de calcineurine. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, on détecte des isoformes et/ou des variants d'épissage de la calcineurine A de sous unité catalytique.
