The invention relates to a method and means to wind a pipeline in a spiral and thus prepare for storage or for transport to another location, while this pipeline is floating in circles next to each other (as a large spiral) in the water. The considered method only contains the part of laying the pipeline in a spiral in such a way that the spiralling is reproducible and the spiral keeps its round form during its the floating lifetime. After the spiral is unwound the pipeline will come back in its original form. The spiralling starts from a straight stretch of pipeline that will be wound around a central point where anchor lines and centre lines are part of the construction to produce the first winding. When the first winding is prepared it will be kept in place by only centre lines. Steel pipeline is very well to bend when it is in its area of elastic strain. It is possible to calculate at which radius a steel pipeline can be bend, without crossing the boundaries of elasticity. Certainly when one takes the large diameter of the floating circles in consideration the pipeline doesn't come under plastic strain and as a result, it will not deform permanently.
L'invention concerne un procédé et moyen pour enrouler une conduite en spirale et la préparer ainsi au stockage ou au transport vers un autre emplacement, tandis que cette conduite flotte en cercles proches les uns des autres (sous la forme d'une grande spirale) dans l'eau. Le moyen envisagé contient seulement la partie de pose de la conduite en spirale de telle sorte que la forme de spirale est reproductible et que la spirale conserve sa forme ronde pendant sa durée de vie flottante. Une fois que la spirale est déroulée, la conduite retrouve sa forme d'origine. La forme de spirale commence par un étirement droit de la conduite qui est enroulée autour d'un point central où des lignes d'ancrage et des axes font partie de la construction pour produire le premier enroulement. Lorsque le premier enroulement est préparé, il est maintenu en place uniquement par des axes. La conduite en acier s'incurve parfaitement lorsqu'elle se trouve dans sa zone de déformation élastique. Il est possible de calculer le rayon de courbure d'une conduite en acier, sans dépasser les limites d'élasticité. Il est certain que lorsque le grand diamètre des cercles de flottement est pris en compte, la conduite n'est pas soumise à la déformation plastique et en conséquence, ne se déforme pas durablement.
